Procurement Specialist

What you will be doing 

 
We’re looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement team within Operations. 

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you'llleadDigital and Corporate categories end to end. You'll develop category strategies, run sourcing and negotiation, and manage supplier performance across a high-value, business-critical portfolio. This is a role for someone who wants to influence decisions, not just support them. 

In this role, you will: 

• Develop and implement category strategies that align procurement activity with business objectives and financial goals, informed by spend data and market intelligence. 

• Lead complex sourcing and negotiation activity, delivering measurable value and establishing contracts with clear KPIs. 

• Manage supplier relationships through structured governance, measuring performance, innovation and partnership value, with clear reporting of outcomes. 

• Balance cost optimisation with quality, service delivery, and sustainability objectives. 

• Navigate complex supplier landscapes and mitigate supply chain risks. 

• Drive continuous improvement, including the use of digital tools and automation to lift efficiency. 

• Partner andbuild alignment with internal stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Digital, Infrastructure, Operations, Commercial and Corporate Services, from delivery teams through to the Leadership Team. 
   

What you will bring to the role

You’ll be a commercially minded procurement professional who enjoys building trusted relationships and delivering practical, value-focused outcomes. You’ll be confident working across a complex stakeholder environment and comfortable balancing cost, service quality, risk and sustainability priorities. 

You’ll bring: 

• 3+ years’ procurement experience. 

• A degree qualification in commerce, business, finance or a related field, or equivalent experience. 

• Experience developing and implementing category strategies. 

• Strongcommercial acumen, with proven negotiation, communication and analytical skills. 

• Knowledge of contract management, supplier evaluation and sourcing strategies. 

• Solid understanding of procurement best practice. 

• Sharpprioritisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

• Effective collaborationacross teams and business functions. 

• Confidentproblem-solving, with a strong eye for detail.
