The Engineering Services team is responsible for the Asset Management (AM) of some of Auckland Airport’s key infrastructure assets. These assets require a high level of reliability and resilience.

 

About the role 

The purpose of the Maintenance Technician (Electrician) is to undertake preventative work for Auckland Airport assets. Ensure assets are maintained properly to a standard and in a timely manner.

Some of your key responsibilities will be: 

·         Maintain detailed maintenance records in (CMMS).

·         Conduct asset preventative and predictive inspections.

·         Conduct first response to assets and facility faults.

·         Undertake planned and minor (new) works.

·         Carry out first line Electrical and minor mechanical works and fault finding to Electrical regulations and standards or greater but not limited to Air conditioning systems, Aero bridges, Gates, Conveyors, Building services and Isolations and Utilities for AIAL.

·         Active participation in the Engineering Services on call requirements.

·         Maintain effective and efficient working relationships with stakeholders and guests.

·         Liaise with customers to undertake maintenance programs in accordance with planned and Scheduled work.

·         Work and participate to assist the Asset Care Planning Team with Planning of work and tasks to ensure minimum disruption to our customers, guests and stakeholders.

·         Ensure all Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to.

·         Maintain tools and services to appropriate standards.

To ensure your success in this role, you will need: 

·         New Zealand registered Electrician (EWRB certified) with current practicing licence.

·         NZ Full Driver’s Licence Manual and Automatic

·         MWEP Unit Standards

·         Air-conditioning knowledge

·         Building Maintenance Systems knowledge (BMS)

·         Sitesafe passport or equivalent is desirable.
