The purpose of this role is supporting users across the organisation through training, guidance, and mentorship, promoting consistent and high-quality data entry and system utilisation. As the organisation transitions to a new enterprise asset management system, the Asset Management Systems & Data Specialist will act as a key contributor and future super user.
Your key responsibilities are:
- Lead asset data gap analysis activities, including field verification and collaboration with asset owners.
- Work with the business to identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent asset data.
- Provide ongoing support for JDE CAM and D365 Fault Management processes until full switchover to the new AMS.
- Assist users with troubleshooting, data entry, and workflow management within legacy systems during the transition.
- Ensure continuity of operations by maintaining data quality and reporting in legacy platforms until decommissioning.
- Assist in designing data quality frameworks and automated data validation tools.
- Develop dashboards and reports to support Engineering Services and wider organisational reporting needs.
- Collaborate with Digital, Operations, Spatial, and external vendors to align AMS requirements and data standards.
- Support asset owners by providing insights into data quality, system functionality, and improvement opportunities.
- Act as a key liaison between Engineering Services and IT teams, ensuring system alignment with organizational goals.
- Take ownership of system decisions and drive innovation through automation and continuous improvement.

- Lead by example, demonstrating and communicating visibly safe work
To ensure your success in this role, you will need:
- Relevant degree associated with data systems, management or business analyst, or experience in a similar field. (Relatable skill sets will also be considered)
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Expertise in asset and fault management systems.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in data cleansing, reporting, and visualization, including a high level of expertise with Excel and Power BI.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
