The Role
This role will focus on strategic resource planning to efficiently coordinate internal and external resource requirements across the Infrastructure Programme. Supporting delivery of the programme by forecasting resourcing needs (internal and external) and working with teams to ensure resources are efficiently allocated to meet project timelines. Significant influencing, advocacy and relationship building skills are critical in this role. It also requires a firm understanding of project management methodologies and the ability to apply this knowledge to the programmes and projects within the Infrastructure Portfolio.
Your key responsibilities are:
- Coordinate with Programme Directors and delivery teams to assess and determine the resource needs for projects and programmes.
- Analyse resource data to proactively identify gaps, and risk to resource availability.
- Challenge and recommended adjustments/redeployment to ensure efficient rates and workforce utilisation.
- Coordinate the review of overall resourcing on a regular basis.
- Develop and maintain workforce planning models to anticipate future resourcing needs based on project timelines, budgets and priorities.
- Prepare and distribute monthly resource reports detailing the forecast of resource requirements, availability, and constraints based on project timelines and scope.
- Identify potential risks related to resource availability.

- Diploma in Commerce, Business Management or HR preferred.
- 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience in resource planning, resource management or programme resourcing.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Experience with resource planning model’s tools databases and reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at multiple levels.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in use of Power BI tool - resourcing will be managed via this tool
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Strong planning and analytical skills.
- Strong relationship building, influencing and networking skills.
