We are looking for a Senior Facilities Engineer to join our Engineering Services team. The Senior Facilities Engineer is accountable for infrastructure reliability and ensuring Auckland Airport’s buildings, services and utility assets are performing at a high standard.
Your key responsibilities are:
- Ensuring that assets across building services and utilities are compliant with relevant regulations.
- Engaging with and providing high quality advice and guidance to multiple customers, asset owners and other stakeholders.
- Budgeting, reporting and analysis for terminal, building services and utility assets
- Contract and project management.
- Providing leadership to a diverse group of reliability engineers, setting the standard for an achievable pathway toward world class asset performance.
- Ensuring asset optimisation planning and performance KPIs are met through a continuous optimisation approach.
Key Challenges:
- Delivering to AKL’s asset management strategy
- Mentoring the Reliability Engineering team
- Managing the financial performance ensuring delivery to approved budgets
- Operating in an 24/7 operating environment.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
What you will bring to the role:
- Relevant engineering tertiary qualifications or equivalent.
- Minimum five years’ experience in an asset engineering related supervisory or management position.
- Proven experience with contract/contractor management.
- Experience with reliability management and condition-based monitoring techniques.
- Broad knowledge of maintenance methods across a range of relevant engineering disciplines.
- Understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements related to building and utility.
