About the role
The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that projects comply with organizational procedures, standards, and quality management systems. This will be a fixed term contract role for 3years.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Conduct regular Compliance and Health checks of project activities, processes, and deliverables to ensure compliance with organizational procedures, processes and quality standards.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions following the compliance and health checks and ensure timely closure of issues.
- Review contractor and consultant quality plans to confirm alignment with organizational requirements.
- Support the implementation of quality management frameworks across the programmes.
- Prepare and present reports to the Quality Manager and other stakeholders.
- Work with the Document System Manager to ensure our systems (Microsoft SharePoint 365 and Aconex) report on live and accurate data.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Work with the Quality Manager and Document Systems Manager in embedding a culture of quality within the PMO.
- Ensure all incidents are reported and investigated in a timely manner to enable continuous learning and improvement.

To ensure your success in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
- Relevant certification in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor).
- 5 years proven experience in compliance and health checks in construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
- Logical thought process, attention to detail and an appreciation of the needs of the audience when authoring and applying working procedures.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- A high level of proficiency with SharePoint and Aconex.
