About the role: 

We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to assist with a number of exciting new projects at Auckland Airport. The Programme Coordinator role is to ensure that the programme team is accurate, successful and effective by supporting the programme activities, correlating data/information, and prudent project procurement and financial management 

Your key responsibilities are: 

  • Best practice information management consistent with Infrastructure processes and procedures overseeing the delivery of all project/programme reporting requirements, including financial performance and reporting 
  • Supporting governance reporting requirements to the Auckland Airport Executive, Board committes and the Board. 
  • Providing lead and lag indicators of programme performance to the Programme Director and supporting ongoing commercial discipline and performance.  
  • Welcoming new starters to the team, and inducting them into the business, and to Infrastructure processes and procedures. 
  • Management of positive, collaborative and supportive team relationships 
  • Assist the Programme Director’s to co-ordinate relevant activity 
  • Managing and coordinating programme events and internal and external communications 
  • Ensuring the working environment is fit for purpose 

What you’ll bring to the role: 

  • Previous experience in a project coordination/adminsitration environment
  • Tertiary level qualification in arts, business, engineering, science, law or planning 

Desirable: 

  • 5 years + experience in client or corporate environment 
  • Qualification in Construction
