About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Programme Coordinator to assist with a number of exciting new projects at Auckland Airport. As a Programme Coordinator your role will be to ensure that the programme team is accurate, successful and effective by supporting the programme activities, correlating data/information, and prudent project procurement and financial management. You will work closely with all parts of the organisation and must be well-versed with interacting with senior management.
Your key responsibilities are:
- Coordinate meetings, events and administration Coordinate and monitor programme governance requirements, tasks, and deliverables
- Cost management through review and collation of financial transactions, managing purchasing and procurement activity against budgets, policies, and procedures.
- Contract administration support, including preparation of variations and compensation events, contact and documentation management
- Financial support including timesheets, subcontract, consultant agreement and invoice reviews
- Leading onboarding of staff and contractors, including access and security
- Foster a culture of proactivity regarding safety considerations
- Fulfil all accountabilities with regards to ensuring the health and safety of yourself and other persons, including ensuring that permanent staff, contractors, and other PCBU’s are aware of and comply with H&S policies, procedures, and obligations
- Conduct and ensure Health and Safety training has been performed
- Value the wellness and health of you and your colleagues, taking proactive steps to address collective and individual issues
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Tertiary level qualification in arts, business, engineering, science, law, or planning
- Experience using document management and general accounting software is desired but not mandatory
- Be known as a self-aware team player, open to receiving and providing feedback. Adopt an influential and welcoming communication style
- Strong business acumen and a collaborative style of work
- Display high integrity and mental resilience, being able to find the positive side in all situations
- Establish credibility as a long-term thinker, able to make a direct link between action today with long term value
- Show a genuine willingness to learn and adapt to changes easily
