 Due to growth and demand in our Digital team, we are taking expressions of interest for the following roles

  • Application and Digital Architect
  • Infrastructure Solution Architect
  • Data Architect

 Key responsibilities would be

  • Design and implementation of Auckland Airport’s Digital and Technology solutions.
  • Provide guidance, support, and consultancy services in areas of speciality
  • Provide technical guidance and assistance on your speciality across Auckland Airport
  • Lead and influence stakeholders within the organisation
  • Assist and contribute to Digital roadmaps across Auckland Airport
  • Think strategically, develop plans, and coordinate execution
  • Growth of risk maturity in the Digital domain

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum 10-11 years experience in the IT industry in roles such as systems engineering, software development and network engineering including minimum 5 years’ experience in a solution architect role.
  • Strong understanding of software development practices, database management, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), networking, and security.
  • Strong knowledge in system integration, APIs, and understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
  • Experience in vendor management
  • Understanding of project management principles and practices
  • Ability to self-manage work on multiple projects simultaneously
