What you will be doing
We are looking for a Contract Manager to take ownership of and ensure effective management of contracts for the supply of goods and services at Auckland Airport as we are navigating through a period of change and significant growth. Develop a detailed understanding of the commercial mechanisms within the contract and provide advice and recommendations to leadership.
Your key responsibilities are:
- Effective management and coordination of the full contract lifecycle
- Monitoring and measuring supplier performance to support delivery of high-quality outcomes
- Represent Auckland Airport’s commercial interests with external stakeholders
- Support contract owners to manage financial aspects of contracts to ensure they deliver to financial objectives
- Management of new contract implementation, develop governance frameworks, contract performance metrics & controls.
What you’ll bring to the role

To ensure your success in this role, you will need:
- Degree in Commerce/Business Studies, or other related field
- Demonstrated experience managing contract financial data including and managing contract variations etc.
- Excellent relationship-building skills at all levels of the organisation
- Strong commercial contract management and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and to influence at all levels
- Sound business writing and verbal communication skills, including well-developed presentation skills
