We are looking for a Civil Engineer with water network experience to join our Engineering Services team as a Three Waters Reliability Engineer reporting to the Senior Three Waters Reliability Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for providing and facilitating reliable Potable, Waste and Storm Water networks at Auckland Airport.
Key responsibilities
- Asset management and planning, including ensuring assets satisfy regulatory requirements and performance KPIs.
- Ensuring that asset data and asset plans are up to date and accessible.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders
- Compliance, reporting and analysis, including budget management.
- Repair and Maintenance Contract planning and administration
- Regularly reviewing procedures to align with industry best practice.
- Promoting and living our zero-harm culture.
What you will bring to the role:

- Qualified Civil Engineer with proven experience with water networks.
- Civil engineering diploma, or NZCE.
- At least 3 years experience in a three waters engineering environment
- Knowledge of relevant utilities codes, standards, guidelines and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge and experience using asset management and information systems
- Sound knowledge and interpretation of large-scale water network design in a three waters environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functional lines.
- Sound working knowledge of relevant legal frameworks in New Zealand.
- Positive and effective relationship building, negotiation and influence skills.
- Strategic thinking and understanding of commercial realities and business complexity.
